On September 24th, city representatives from Teresina will be invited to participate in a preparatory workshop dedicated to understanding the specific challenges and opportunities related to extreme heat and climate resilience in the city. This session will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, highlighting key issues, local vulnerabilities, and potential pathways for adaptation.
Following this, on September 25th, the CiBiX workshop will connect the public sector with innovative organizations—including startups, companies, and research institutions—focused on developing practical solutions to urban heat. Participants will be encouraged to propose actionable projects that directly address the city’s primary climate vulnerability—extreme heat—through tangible partnerships and clear implementation pathways.
