UrbanShift India National-Local Dialogue
The first UrbanShift India National-Local Dialogue aimed to improve multilevel governance and urban challenges focusing on "Indian perspective of sustainable and smart infrastructure development."
The first UrbanShift India National-Local Dialogue was guided by the theme “Indian perspective of sustainable and smart infrastructure development”. The event saw the participation of the cities of Surat, Pune, Chennai, Puducherry and Agra, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), project partners and other organizations including NGOs, research institutes, and urban planning practitioners.
The Dialogue was conducted along with the UrbanShift project Inception Workshop organized by NIUA. It was modeled around the Talanoa Dialogue Approach with the goal of improving multilevel governance and addressing specific urban challenges and opportunities. It also facilitated communication and coordination between different levels of government across various departments which include the national government, state governments, and the city governments.

Second Brazil National-Local Dialogue
The dialogue will focus on further strengthening metropolitan and interfederative governance across three Brazilian regions.
