Efrian Muharrom is an Environmental Specialist at the Environmental, Resource Management, and Blue Economy (ENB) Global Program at the World Bank, primarily supporting projects related to emissions reduction, forestry and climate change.

Efrian has more than 13 years of experience in land-based emissions reduction, climate change policy, forest conservation initiatives and institutional arrangement of initiatives related to natural climate solutions. Before joining the World Bank, Efrian was working with the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation (KEHATI), and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). He completed his education in forestry and nature conservation policy field at Bogor Agriculture University (IPB), University of Joensuu (currently University of Eastern Finland), and Wageningen University and Research Center (WUR).
