Emani is the Executive Director of ICLEI South Asia and also the Deputy Secretary-General of ICLEI Global, he works with all of ICLEI's Asia offices to ensure cohesion in the implementation of the organization's agenda and spearheads advocacy activities in the region. He has a background in environmental management, environmental planning, and civil engineering with more than twenty-five years of professional experience in climate change policy, local governance, renewable energy, systems management and auditing. Emani serves as the National Project Advisor for UrbanShift's global capacity-building activities in India.
