Cities are the best places to deliver bold climate action that is fair, equitable and beneficial for all. This executive guide summarizes the main steps to implement
such policies, supporting cities to advance climate action through an inclusive engagement and planning process that results in more equitable outcomes. It identifies key principles and policy recommendations for city leaders and decision-makers to ensure that their climate action measures are rooted in the relevant socio-economic context, and provides practical recommendations for cities to implement inclusive climate policies.
